What are the times for peak, shoulder and off-peak pricing?

If you have a smart meter you'll be charged based on how much electricity you use during peak, shoulder and off-peak times. These times are;

Peak

• 7:00am to 9:30am, and 
• 5:30pm to 8:00pm

Shoulder

• 9:30am to 5:30pm, and 
• 8:00pm - 11:00pm

Off-peak

• 11:00pm - 7:00am

If you don’t have a new meter, your bill will still be based on the amount of electricity that you use, but the price will stay the same throughout the entire day.
