Who needs to know when tenants move in and out of a property?

When someone moves they’ll often let their electricity retailer know – but forget to tell us. Each time a tenant moves in or out please let us know so we can update the account details. This also applies if the property is vacant.

From 1 October 2021, people who are moving will only need to let their retailer know. The retailer will pass this information on to us.
